It is "Back to School" time and the summer has come to an end!

Back to School has a whole new meaning for our architectural firm now. During the month of August CDS worked on seven design build renovation projects concurrently for Detroit Public Schools

  • Golightly Career and Technical Center - consolidation with Davis Aerospace
  • Noble Elementary and Middle School- Classroom upgrades
  • Dr. Benjamin Carson High School of Science and Medicine - Classrooms
  • Northwestern High School -Classroom upgrades
  • Henderson Academy- Classroom upgrades
  • Burton International School - Kitchen Renovation
  • Burns Elementary Middle School - Kitchen Renovation

Our project team (Centric Design Studio and Tooles Contracting Group) has "blurred" the boundaries by shifting responsibilities and experimenting with new deliverables between parties to take advantage of efficiencies now possible with digital tools, communication and processes.
